Why do you enjoy being an instructor?

I find great fulfillment in helping others succeed. Watching students grow in skill and confidence is incredibly rewarding. I especially enjoy teaching and running air brakes—there’s something uniquely energizing about sharing that experience and technique with others.

Tell us three things most people don’t know about you:

1. I earned a degree in Theatre from Sacramento State and spent a decade working as a concert and theatrical lighting technician, touring with artists such as Joan Sebastian, Ramón Ayala, and the Aguilar family.

2. I’m an ordained Dudeist priest and a two-time GoldenEye tournament champion from the ‘90s.

3. I’m related to Reba McEntire, and my go-to karaoke song is “Rollin’” by Limp Bizkit.
